Resumen de Racismo no futebol brasileiro: revisão bibliométrica em periódicos científicos

  Hay escasez de revisiones relacionadas con la producción científica sobre el racismo en el fútbol brasileño en revistas del presente siglo. El objetivo fue mapear y explorar la producción científica relacionada con el racismo en el fútbol brasileño en revistas científicas del siglo XXI. Se trata de un estudio caracterizado como investigación de revisión, utilizando bibliometría. Los artículos fueron rastreados en las bases de datos Web of Science, Scopus y Lilacs, a través de la ecuación en portugués Racismo or Negr* or Pret* and Futebol y en inglés Racism or Black and Soccer or Football. Los resultados consisten en: 20 publicaciones; 28 autores (en su mayoría hombres); destaque para los años 2020 y 2021; regiones del norte y medio oeste no estaban cubiertas; 15 instituciones brasileñas y una internacional tienen estudios; autores con mayor formación en Educación Física y Ciencias Humanas; énfasis en las revistas de Educación Física; palabras clave relacionadas con el fútbol, el racismo y los prejuicios con mayor frecuencia. Estos resultados expresan el creciente interés de la comunidad científica por el tema, concomitante con el aumento del número de episodios de racismo en el fútbol brasileño, y perfilan una nueva corriente de investigación sobre el tema en cuestión.

  There is a lack of reviews related to scientific production about racism in Brazilian football in journals in the present century. The present study aimed to map and explore the scientific production related to racism in Brazilian soccer in scientific journals in the 21st century. The study is characterized as a review, using bibliometrics. The articles were tracked in Web of Science, Scopus and Lilacs databases, using the equation in Portuguese Racism or Negr* or Pret* and Futebol and in English Racism or Black and Soccer or Football. The results consist of: 20 publications; 28 authors (mostly men); highlight to years 2020 and 2021; North and Midwest regions were not included; 15 Brazilian and one international institution have studies; most of the authors related to Physical Education and Human Sciences; emphasis on Physical Education journals; keywords related to soccer, racism and prejudice appear more often. These results express the increase in the scientific community's interest in the theme concomitant with the increase of the news and episodes of racism in Brazilian soccer and outline a new trend in research of the topic.
