Resumen de Intereses y aptitudes hacia la profesión en adolescentes de la Unidad Educativa Cristo Rey, en Manabí, Ecuador

  La presente investigación se centra en el estudio de la problemática de la elección profesional en la adolescencia como etapa del desarrollo humano. Se plantea como objetivo el estudio de la relación entre los intereses profesionales y las aptitudes para la profesión que consideran poseer una muestra de 25 adolescentes entre 15 y 16 años, pertenecientes a la Unidad Educativa Cristo Rey del Cantón Portoviejo, en Manabí, Ecuador. La metodología empleada es de carácter culi-cuantitativo, el estudio es de corte transeccional y alcance descriptivo. Se apoya en los métodos de análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción y el análisis de contenido para el procesamiento de la información. En cuanto a las conclusiones se evidencia que los intereses profesionales de los adolescentes se relacionan con las áreas de Ciencias Humanísticas y Sociales y la de Defensa y Seguridad. En cuanto a las aptitudes las más significativas son aquellas que se vinculan con las Ciencias Administrativas y Contables. La relación entre intereses y aptitudes se destaca una falta de correspondencia, pues los intereses están más orientados a las Ciencias Humanísticas y Sociales y las de Defensa y Seguridad, mientras que las aptitudes están vinculadas a las Ciencias Administrativas y Contables y a la Medicina y Ciencias de la Salud. La mayor correspondencia entre intereses y aptitudes se releva en el área de las Ciencias Humanísticas y Sociales.

  This research focuses on the study of the problem of professional choice in adolescence as a stage of human development. The objective is to study the relationship between professional interests and aptitudes for the profession that a sample of 25 adolescents between 15 and 16 years old, belonging to the Cristo Rey Educational Unit at the Portoviejo Canton, in Manabí, Ecuador, consider possessing. The methodology used is culi-quantitative, the study is transectional and descriptive in scope. It is based on the methods of analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and content analysis for the processing of information. Regarding the conclusions, it is evident that the professional interests of adolescents are related to the areas of Humanistic and Social Sciences and Defense and Security. In terms of aptitudes, the most significant are those that are linked to Administrative and Accounting Sciences. The relationship between interests and aptitudes highlights a lack of correspondence, since the interests are more oriented to the Humanistic and Social Sciences and those of Defense and Security, while the aptitudes are linked to Administrative and Accounting Sciences and to Medicine and Sciences of health. The greatest correspondence between interests and attitudes is revealed in the area of ​​Humanistic and Social Sciences.
