    La insuficiencia cardíaca es una enfermedad en la cual el corazón no puede bombear la sangre necesaria al resto del cuerpo, siendo incapaz de satisfacer las demandas de oxigeno del organismo, lo que hace que se presenten síntomas en todo el cuerpo. . Una de las causas más frecuentes de la insuficiencia cardíaca es la Hipertensión Arterial. Entre los síntomas encontramos: dificultad respiratoria (disnea) ante el esfuerzo o en reposo, fatiga y debilidad, edemas en las extremidades inferiores (inflamación de pies y tobillos) e incapacidad para realizar grandes esfuerzos. La vigilancia de las personas con insuficiencia cardíaca es muy importante, teniendo siempre en cuenta los signos de alarma.

    Heart failure is a disease in which the heart cannot pump the necessary blood to the rest of the body, being unable to meet the body’s oxygen demands, which causes symptoms to occur throughout the body. One of the most frequent causes of heart failure is high blood pressure. Among the symptoms we find: respiratory distress (dyspnea) before exertion or at rest, fatigue and weakness, edema in the lower extremities (swelling of feet and ankles) and inability to make great efforts. Monitoring people with heart failure is very important, always taking into account the warning signs.
