    Analizando los rasgos y tradiciones de Yebes, vemos un elemento que desde el siglo XVI a la actualidad se mantiene. Es la devoción a una imagen y su cofradía que, aun denominándolas de distinta manera a través del tiempo, en esencia, es la misma. Nos referimos a la Virgen de la Soledad y su cofradía o hermandad. Esta agrupación se formó bajo la protección de La Virgen, viviéndose dentro del sentimiento de la Pasión del Señor, al tiempo que era una entidad benéfica de ayuda mutua entre los miembros integrantes; con acompañamiento en la enfermedad, el entierro, misas, etc. Aunque hoy solamente conserva su aspecto devocional, es una entidad que sigue viva y mantiene su celebración anual, además del cuidado de la ermita e imágenes.

    By analyzing Yebes’ characteristics and traditions, an element can be identified that has been kept constant since the 16th century. That is the devotion to a statue and its brotherhood that, even having received different names throughout time remains, in essence, the same. We refer to Our Lady of Solitude and its brotherhood. This association was founded under the protection of Virgin Mary, within the sentiment of the Passion of Jesus, acting at the same time as a benefic entity of mutual aid between its members, providing company during illness, burial, mass, ... Even though nowadays only the devotional aspect is conserved, the brotherhood is still alive and maintains its annual celebration, in addition to the preservation of the hermitage and its statues.
