    El presente artículo describe la implementación de un corredor ecoturístico comunitario en el cantón San Vicente de la provincia de Manabí como respuesta a varias problemáticas en el cantón. Su objetivo principal es enfocarse en preservar tanto los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente como el desarrollo económico, el turismo sostenible, la inclusión social y cultural y la mejora de la infraestructura del cantón. La metodología se desarrolló en varias fases, como diagnóstico del área de estudio, zonificación y creación de rutas ecoturísticas, elaboración de guías de recursos turísticos, desarrollo de una plataforma virtual, programa integral en la promoción y marketing de paquetes turísticos, capacitaciones y desarrollo deunplandemanejoparaelCorredorEC-SV.LosresultadosdestacanlariquezadelosrecursostantonaturalescomoculturalesdelcantónSanVicente.Noobstante,existenlimitacionescomo la contaminación y la pérdida de conocimientos ancestrales. Se diseñó 5 paquetes turísticos basados en las características del territorio, también se realizaron capacitacionesparamejorarelniveldegestióndelturismolocal.Además,seprepararonmaterialespromocionales y estrategias de gestión para el desarrollo sostenible del Corredor EC-SV. El estudio destaca el valor de una gestión sostenible que involucre a las comunidades locales y respete tanto el entorno natural como el cultural del cantón, al tiempo que demuestra el potencial del ecoturismo en el cantón. El Corredor EC-SV es un ejemplo de desarrollo sostenible que se puede extender a otras regiones, creando recursos y beneficiando a todas las partes en la industria del turismo.

    The present investigation describes the implementation of a community ecotourism corridorin the San Vicente canton of the Manabí province as a response to various problems in thecanton. The mainobjective of the study is to focus on preserving both natural resources andthe environment, as well as economic development, sustainable tourism, social and cultural inclusion,and the improvement of the canton's infrastructure.The methodology was developed in several phases, such as diagnosis of the study area, zoning and creation ofecotourism routes, preparation of tourist resource guides, development of a virtual platform,comprehensive program in the promotion and marketing of tourist packages, training, and development of a management plan for the EC-SV Corridor. The results highlight therichnessofbothnaturalandculturalresourcesoftheSanVicentecanton.However,therearelimitations such as contamination and the loss of ancestral knowledge. 5 tourist packagesbased on the characteristics of the territory were designed, training was also carried out to improve the level of management of local tourism. In addition, promotional materials andmanagementstrategiesforthesustainabledevelopmentoftheEC-SVCorridor were prepared. The study highlights the value of sustainable management that involves local communities and respects both the canton's natural and cultural environment,while demonstrating the potential of ecotourism in the canton. TheEC-SVCorridor is anexampleof sustainable development that can be extended to other regions, creating resources andbenefitingall parties in thetourism industry.
