Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez (1892-1962) fue una mujer adelantada a su tiempo. Vivió momentos convulsos y no cejó en su empeñó de superación. Doctorada en Filosofía y Letras y en Derecho, dedicó su vida al mundo de las bibliotecas, en el que se mantuvo al día hasta el final. En la FUE conservamos una muestra de sus inquietudes bibliográficas y su curiosidad por conocer mundo a través de su correspondencia con Pedro Sainz Rodríguez.

Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez (1892-1962) was a woman ahead of her time. She lived through tumultuous times, andnever gave up on her efforts to better herself. Holder of a doctorate in Philosophy and Letters and another inLaw, she dedicated her entire life to the world of libraries, where she always kept herself up to date. In the FUE we preserve a sample of her bibliographic interests and eagerness to discover the world through her correspondence with Pedro Sainz Rodríguez.
