    El artículo está dedicado a una de las pocas incursiones de Luis García Berlanga en la televisión, sin que esté demasiado claro hasta dónde llegó su participación. El hecho es que Berlanga figura como creador de Villarriba y Villabajo, producción de TVE cuya idea germinal y premisa argumental corresponden a un Berlanga sobre cuyo cine la serie formula unos guiños e inspiraciones que pretendemos repasar a la luz de toda su filmografía, si bien la moda televisiva del momento encadena este producto al cine popular de épocas pasadas.

    This paper is dedicated to one of the few incursions of Luis García Berlanga on television, even without being certain about his real implication in the project. Berlanga figured as the creator of Villarriba & Villabajo, a TVE production whose main idea and plot came from Berlanga and his cinema is referenced by this TV series. We intend to study those Berlanga’s filmography inspirations, although the television ways of doing chains Villarriba & Villabajo to the past decades popular comedies.
