    Ortega desapareció de la escena filosófica española poco después de su muerte y sus discípulos fueron cuidadosamente apartados de las instituciones, de los congresos, de las revistas y de cualquier otro mecanismo de producción de la cultura filosófica tanto a nivel mundano como académico. Esta es la hipótesis que intenta probar el presente texto, en diálogo con la defendida por Francisco Vázquez en torno al papel que hicieron los “católicos orteguianos”, en la configuración del “nódulo de Aranguren”, que identifica a los “pretendientes” frente a los “herederos” de la red institucional de la filosofía española entre 1963 y 1990. La vía regia por la que se consolidó el núcleo alternativo de la filosofía española en torno al líder carismático Aranguren fue el diálogo entre cristianos y marxistas. Pero ello sin la colaboración ni la legitimación de los discípulos de Ortega.

    Ortega dissapeared from the Spanish philosophical scene a little while after his death. His disciples were carefully outcast from public institutions, conferences, scholarly journals and from any other production mechanism of philosophical culture not just in academic circles but also in any cultural sphere. This is the hypothesis that this paper is trying to prove in dialoge with the one defended by Francisco Vázquez that revolves around the role that “Orteguian catholics” had in the configuration of “Aranguren’s nodule”, that distinguishes those who aspire to the institutional network of Spanish philosophy between 1963 to 1990 from those who inherit it. The Via Regia in which the alternative core of Spanish philosophy was consolidated around the charismatic figure of Aranguren was the dialogue between Marxists and Christians; but this occurred without the collaboration or legitimation of Ortega’s disciples.
