Resumen de Herramientas tecnológicas: Una vía para la inclusión y aprendizaje de las matemáticas en alumnado con discapacidad auditiva

En el presente estudio se trabajó con 49 alumnos (26 mujeres y 23 hombres), de los cuales dos presentan la condición de discapacidad auditiva (1 mujer y 1 hombre) de la Escuela Primaria Thomas Alva Edison de la Ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán. La investigación fue de corte cualitativo, teniendo como objetivo aplicar herramientas tecnológicas para el aprendizaje de las matemáticas con la población participante. Se implementaron dos aplicaciones digitales: Monster Numbers y El Rey de las Matemáticas, orientadas a la resolución de operaciones aritméticas básicas (sumas, restas, multiplicación y división). Los resultados indican que todo el estudiantado participante tuvo un aprendizaje fructífero en el logro matemático con el uso de las herramientas tecnológicas, porque lograron resolver problemas, razonar, mejorar su memoria y realizar cálculo mental de forma dinámica, interactiva y atractiva por la obtención de premios, para el paso de niveles en el juego tecnológico logrando, de esta manera, la ejecución de una estrategia diversificada para la intervención con la población que presenta la condición de discapacidad auditiva.

In the present study, we worked with 49 students (26 women and 23 men) of which two present hearing impairment (1 woman and 1 man) from the Thomas Alva Edison Elemen-tary School in the City of Morelia, Michoacán. The research was qualitative with the ob-jective of applying technological tools for learning mathematics with the participating population. Two digital applications were implemented: Monster Numbers and The King of Mathematics that are oriented to the resolution of basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). The results indicate that all the participating students had a fruitful learning in mathematical achievement with the use of technological tools because they were able to solve problems, reason, improve their memory and per-form mental calculations in a dynamic, interactive and attractive way for obtaining prizes for the passage of levels in the technological game; achieving in this way the execution of a diversified strategy for the intervention with the population that presents the condition of hearing disability.
