Resumen de Russian Juridical Linguistics: History and Modernity

  • The report investigates the results of integrating research on various aspects of linguistics and jurisprudence which is under active development in Russian linguistics. The authors focus on different thematic groups and the tasks Russian juridical linguistics faces with. Thus the authors managed to define the main problems (social, scientific, educational), both fundamental and applied, which have been accumulated in the sphere of intersection of lawsand conformity of language and law. The main attention is given to the historical development of the legal linguistics formation in Russia within the functional stylistics as the study of the language of legislation. The leading approach used by the authors was the descriptive method for observation and classification of the investigated material as well as collecting, analyzingand synthesizing the data. The paper might be of interest for linguists, lawyers, speech acts specialists, conflictology experts, forensic psychologists and others.
