Resumen de Masculinidades hegemónicas. Una mirada autoetnográfica acerca del poder, dominación, virilidad y violencia entre los hombres.

Las relaciones sociales entre las personas se encuentran sujetas a las condiciones históricas y culturales de las sociedades porque son las que proporcionan los principios identitarios que indican las formas de estar en el mundo. Las posiciones sociales han sido definidas por la tenencia de poder generando dinámicas de dominación y de subordinación entre las personas, específicamente, se ha observado procesos de sometimiento ejercido por los hombres hacia las mujeres. La opresión se debe a los aprendizajes de las masculinidades y las feminidades que señalan los rasgos personales de varones y hembras señalando su lugar en el cuerpo social.
Son precisamente las masculinidades hegemónicas que se analizaron en el escrito mediante la utilización de la autoetnografía para explorar en mi historia personal las experiencias que tuve con personas que consciente o inconscientemente tuvieron comportamiento de tipo machista. Las reflexiones estuvieron acompañadas por fuentes bibliográficas otorgándole un respaldo teórico y metodológico a las ideas expuestas y al hilo narrativo desarrollado en el artículo. Se concluye haciendo señalamientos referentes a la necesidad de configurar nuevas formas de masculinidades alejadas de los estereotipos tradicionales que dañan a las personas y sus formas de interacción social.

The social relationships between people are subject to the historical and cultural conditions of societies because they are the ones that provide the identity principles that indicate the ways of being in the world. Social positions have been defined by the possession of power, generating dynamics of domination and subordination between people, specifically, processes of submission exercised by men towards women have been observed. The oppression is due to the learning of masculinities and femininities that indicate the personal traits of males and females, indicating their place in the social body. It is precisely the theme of masculinities that is of interest in this article because it helps in understanding the dynamics of power exercised between men towards other men and women in the different stages of life of individuals. In other words, it allows us to understand the processes of domination and violence exerted by certain masculine identities in societies. Therefore, the approach to masculinities was possible through the use of autoethnography as a methodological tool aimed at exploring my personal history, which brought me closer to reflecting on experiences I had with people who consciously or unconsciously had sexist behavior. The reflections were accompanied by bibliographic sources that gave a theoretical support to the exposed ideas and to the narrative thread developed in the article. It concludes by pointing out the need to configure new forms of masculinity away from traditional stereotypes that harm people and their forms of social interaction.
