    El covid-19 dejó patente la importancia de la cultura como agente cohesionador del entramado social, asimismo, reveló la inestabilidad de un sector en el cual sus producciones se originan a partir de unas condiciones laborales lábiles e inmersas en contextos legitimados. El objetivo del estudio es señalar la fragilidad del colectivo que se inscribe dentro del ámbito de las artes visuales y que transita en un hábitat impregnado de carencias estructurales, preponderando aquellas en que género y pobreza son consustanciales. Aportando proyectos y cifras que corroboran la obsolescencia de los patrones económicos y culturales exiguos en los que el creador intenta subsistir y exponiendo como desde el entorno educativo se sigue perpetuando un relato hegemónico sobre un modelo de artista caduco. Para finalmente constatar la necesidad del productor artístico como constructor de una nueva subjetividad política que aliente un ecosistema que dé lugar a praxis alternativas de resistencia y solidaridad.

    Covid-19 made clear the importance of culture as a cohesive agent of the social fabric; it also revealed the instability of a sector in which its productions originate from labile working conditions and immersed in legitimized contexts. The objective of the study is to point out the fragility of the group that is part of the field of visual arts and that transits in a habitat impregnated with structural deficiencies, preponderating those in which gender and poverty are consubstantial. Providing projects and figures that corroborate the obsolescence of the meager economic and cultural patterns in which the creator tries to subsist and exposing how, from the educational environment, a hegemonic story about an outdated artist model continues to be perpetuated. To finally confirm the need for the artistic producer as a builder of a new political subjectivity that encourages an ecosystem that gives rise to alternative praxis of resistance and solidarity.
