    Este artículo fue escrito para reinterpretar el concepto de responsabilidad social universitaria a la luz de diversas posiciones teóricas que van desde la reivindicación hegemónica globalizada hasta los más diversos conceptos sociales que requieren nuevas respuestas. Se enfatiza la necesidad de mejorar la calidad educativa, sin embargo, se enfatiza la necesidad de ejercer un liderazgo que promueva una mayor equidad en pos de la cohesión social como principio moral y como nombre de la universidad. La metodología está dedicada a la documentación de artículos científicos y tesis de investigación de los últimos cinco años que se publican en revistas indexadas y otras fuentes diversas que conduce a un examen y comprensión integral de los mismos. De igual manera, se inició una discusión entre la información considerada en la bibliografía y la perspectiva del investigador. Se resumen las conclusiones del artículo de investigación.

    This article was written to reinterpret the concept of university social responsibility in light of various theoretical positions ranging from the globalized hegemonic claim to the most diverse social concepts that require new responses. The need to improve educational quality is emphasized, however, the need to exercise leadership that promotes greater equity in pursuit of social cohesion as a moral principle and as the name of the university is emphasized. The methodology is dedicated to the documentation of scientific articles and research theses of the last five years that are published in indexed journals and other diverse sources that leads to an examination and comprehensive understanding of them. Similarly, a discussion began between the information considered in the bibliography and the researcher's perspective. The conclusions of the research article are summarized.
