    La Biblioteca de la Universidad de Yale custodia un manuscrito cuyo texto parece un memorial elaborado por un autor anónimo con motivo de la conquista del reino de Navarra por las tropas del rey Fernando el Católico, pero tras la muerte del monarca en 1516. Aunque la información que contiene no guarda en apariencia mayor interés para el conocimiento de aquellos acontecimientos, la óptica ofrecida sí muestra algunos elementos de relieve, como el papel representado por la reina viuda, Germana de Foix, y las expectativas que podían abrirse en el nuevo escenario político y diplomático. Se presenta aquí un breve estudio del texto y su edición a partir de la copia conservada en aquella universidad.

    The Yale University Library holds a manuscript whose text appears to be a memorial written by an anonymous author on the occasion of the conquest of the kingdom of Navarre by the troops of King Ferdinand the Catho-lic, but after the death of the monarch. Although the information it offers does not seem to be of great interest for the knowledge of those events, the point of view does show some important elements, such as the role played by the widowed queen, Germaine of Foix, and the expectations that could open up in the new poli-tical and diplomatic scenario. Here we offer a brief study of the text and its edition based on the copy preserved in said university.
