Resumen de Ensino Superior Privado: Uma análise no município de Castanhal-PA

  A pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar por meio de dados quantitativos o crescimentodas unidades de Instituições superiores privadasno Estado do Pará, especificamente no municípiode Castanhal. As problemáticas da pesquisa são:1) Como ocorreu a expansão das IES privadas?2) Quais os dados quantitativos de IES privadasno Estado do Pará e no Município de Castanhal?Este estudo é importante para compreensão dosprocessos de reconfigurações políticas do ensinosuperior brasileiro. Os procedimentos metodológicos versam da pesquisa bibliográfica e quantitativa, realizada com base nos dados estatísticosMEC e INEP. Os resultados indicam que o crescimento de IES privadas já eram demasiadamentealtas desde o período militar, mas, após a promulgação da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação- LBD 9.394/96, essa expansão privatista aumentou.

  The research aims to analyzethrough quantitative data the growth of units ofprivate higher institutions in the State of Pará,specifically in the municipality of Castanhal. Theresearch problems are: 1) How did the expansionof private HEIs occur ?; 2) What are the quantitative data of private HEIs in the State of Pará andin the Municipality of Castanhal? This study isimportant for understanding the processes of political reconfiguration of Brazilian higher education. The methodological procedures refer to bibliographic and quantitative research, carried outbased on the statistical data MEC and INEP. Theresults indicate that the growth of private HEIswas already too high since the military period,but, after the enactment of the Law of Directivesand Bases of Education - LBD 9.394 / 96, thisprivatist expansion increased.
