  It is a field research, of mixed nature, with bibliographical and documentary support. Accordingto Louro (1997), questions about gender is not todeny, but to constitute a relation on sexed bodies,following the biologically oriented precepts, butwith the valorization of social construction andhistorically demarcated. Reinforcing, Foucault(1988) says about sexuality, as a social creation,established by the constructions of the roles presented as rules to be followed, under the prejudice of being penalized by the discrimination and /or prejudice of the society that legitimates thesenorms according to their values. The objective ofthis research was to seek the perception of thesubjects participating in the school about the theme. In the methodology, a higher education institution was chosen in a random way in the city ofSão Luís / MA, with the participation of studentsin the 1st, 4th and 8th years in the licenciaturacourse. Data collection took place in 2018, thequestionnaires were applied at the University. Inthe question In your opinion, what types of problems occur in this institution of higher education related to gender and sexuality among the students? - students of the first period, 13%, answered: prejudice. In the 4th period, 19% answered: gays /lesbian rejection looks. In the 8th period, 38% answered: prejudice. The data collected and categorized with the variables: period studied at the time of the research, age, religion, profession, incomeand questions about gender and sexuality. It can be observed that the results found around the themepresent a correlation with religion as the guiding variable of the majority of participants’ responses.

  É uma pesquisa de campo, de natureza mista,com apoio bibliográfico e documental. ConformeLouro (1997), questões sobre gênero não énegar, mas constituir uma relação sobre corpossexuados, seguindo os preceitos biologicamenteorientados, mas com a valorização da construçãosocial e historicamente demarcados. Reforçando,Foucault (1988) diz sobre a sexualidade, comouma criação social, estabelecida pelas construçõesdos papéis apresentados como regras a seremseguidas, sob o prejuízo de serem penalizadospela discriminação e∕ou preconceito da sociedadeque legitima estas normas de acordo com seus valores. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi buscar a percepção dos sujeitos participantes na escola sobreo tema. Na metodologia foi escolhida de modoaleatório uma instituição de ensino superior, nacidade de São Luís/MA, com a participação dosalunos no 1º, 4º e 8º período no curso de licenciatura. A coleta de dados aconteceu em 2018, osquestionários foram aplicados na Universidade.Na questão Em sua opinião, quais tipos de problemas ocorrem neste estabelecimento de ensinosuperior, relacionados às questões de gênero e sexualidade, entre os(as) alunos(as)? – alunos(as)do 1º período, 13%, responderam: preconceito.No 4º período, 19%, responderam: olhares derejeição gays / lésbicas. Já no 8º período, 38%, responderam: preconceito. Os dados coletados ecategorizados com as variáveis: período cursadono momento da pesquisa, idade, religião, profissão, renda e questões sobre gênero e sexualidade.Nota-se que os resultados encontrados em tornodo tema, apresentam, correlação com a religião,como a variável norteadora da maioria das respostas dos sujeitos participantes.
