    La capilla del Santo Cristo de Burgos, una de las dos reservadas al culto de los fieles en la catedral, es una de las más frecuentadas por los burgaleses y por los foráneos debido a que en ella encuentra acomodo la milagrosa imagen del Santo Cristo de Burgos. En las próximas páginas hablaremos sobre la capilla y las obras de arte que contiene y contuvo, pero también sobre la historia y la leyenda de la milagrosa escultura gótica del Crucificado que, según relatos legendarios, fue encontrada flotando en el mar.

    The chapel of the Holy Christ of Burgos, one of the two chapels reserved to the worship of the faithful in the cathedral, is one of the most frequented by the people of Burgos and the foreigners due to the fact that it houses the miraculous image of the Holy Christ of Burgos. In the following pages we will talk about the chapel and the works of art it contains and contained, but also about the history and the legend of the miraculous gothic sculpture of the Crucified Christ which, according to legendary accounts, was found floating in the sea.
