    Las vidrieras dotan a los edificios de una luz mística en su interior, cuando la luz se refleja en sus vidrios, creando un efecto en el que el fiel ve la palabra de Dios en las imágenes que se iluminan en los vidrios. Es un muro que permite cerrar el edificio, dar mayor ligereza a la obra, crear un ambiente de luz más espiritual, y es el soporte de un programa iconográfico para adoctrinar al fiel. La catedral es el símbolo del Reino de Dios en la Tierra, con la iluminación y el color de sus vidrieras evoca a la Jerusalén Celeste, que describe el profeta Juan en el libro del Apocalipsis. La luz es belleza y la asociamos a la divinidad, por eso la vidriera con sus colores neutros o intensos nos traslada a un mundo espiritual donde nuestra alma encuentra la paz.

    The stained glass windows give the buildings a mystical light inside, when the light is reflected in their glass, creating an effect in which the faithful sees the Word of God in the images that are illuminated in the glass. It is a wall that allows the building to be closed, to give the work more lightness, to create a more spiritual atmosphere of light, and it is the support of an iconographic program to indoctrinate the faithful. The cathedral is the symbol of the Kingdom of God on Earth, with the illumination and the color of its stained glass windows evoking the Celestial Jerusalem, described by the Prophet John in the Book of Revelation. Light is beauty and we associate it with divinity, that is why the stained glass window with its neutral or intense colors takes us to a spiritual world where our soul finds peace.
