El presente estudio analiza los antecedentes más relevantes de la Corte Constitucional de Colombia, sobre el desarrollo al derecho a una muerte digna. Evidencia cómo la jurisdicción constitucional motiva el desarrollo legislativo y suple su ausencia, en varias resoluciones que terminan marcando las pautas, para poder tutelar el derecho. Se evidencia la línea marcada por esta jurisdicción a partir del mayor interés que otorga a la autonomía de la voluntad y al libre desarrollo de la personalidad.

This study analyzes the most relevan precedents of the Constitutional Court of Colombia, on the development of dignified death right. It ́s shows how the constitutional jurisdiction drives the legislative development and makes up for its absence, in several resolutions that end up setting the guidelines, in order to protect the right. The line marked by this jurisdiction is evidenced fromthe greater interest that it grants to the individual autonomy and the free deveolpment of the personality.
