    El control político es una de las principales herramientas diseñada por el modelo republicano democrático para establecer límites al ejercicio del poder. La Constitución Política y el Reglamento de la Asamblea Legislativa diseñan las herramientas de control político que tiene el ordenamiento jurídico costarricense y se resalta la importancia que tienen estas para alcanzar el ideal de “buen gobierno”.

    Political control is one of the main tools designed by the democratic-republican model to establish limits to the exercise of power. The Political Constitution and the Regulations of the Legislative Assembly design the tools of political control that the Costa Rican legal system has, which are of the utmost importance to achieve the ideal of "good government".
