Resumen de Transformar la educación para un nuevo orden civilizatorio

El artículo argumenta que ante el quiebre mundial del estilo de vida civilizatorio que nos está llevando a un planeta y a un mundo insostenible a presente y futuro, se requiere una transformación profunda de la educación a todo nivel. A escala mundial la supervivencia, el bienestar y el desarrollo de las nuevas generaciones emerge como un asunto prioritario en educación. En particular, identificamos tres desafíos en Iberoamérica, a saber: (a) avanzar hacia un nuevo orden civilizatorio que asuma las disrupciones planetarias; (b) repensar los sentidos, ruteros y contenidos de la educación en su integralidad; y (c) apuntalar la transformación de la educación priorizando el fortalecimiento de las bases democráticas, de inclusión y convivencia, así como la transversalidad de la educación verde y azul y de la transformación digital como palancas de más y mejores aprendizajes y de futuros más sostenibles para las nuevas generaciones.

The article makes the case that in light of the worldwide rupture of the civilizing lifestyle that is leading to an unstainable planet and world at present and in the future, it is required an in-depth transformation of education at all levels. The survival, wellbeing and development of the new generations emerge as a priority matter in education worldwide. In particularly, we identify three challenges in Iberoamerica, namely: (a) advance toward a new civilization order that assume planetary disruptions; (b) rethink the purpose, pathways and contents of education in its integrality; and (c) focus on the transformation of education prioritizing the strengthening of the democratic, inclusive and living together basis as well as to crosscutting green and blue education and the digital transformation as drivers of more and better learning and of more sustainable futures for the new generations.
