    En la segunda mitad del siglo XX asistimos a una revi- sión del modelo fundacionista en epistemología. Algunas de las versiones más críticas de este proceso de revisión dieron como resultado el rechazo completo de la idea de un fundamento epis- témico que justifique nuestras creencias, con el consecuente giro hacia un modelo de justificación de base social. Tal es la postura de Richard Rorty. No obstante, su filosofía recibió también impor- tantes críticas, entre ellas las de Ernest Sosa, que, consciente de las limitaciones del fundacionismo clásico pero insatisfecho con la alternativa rortyano, ofrece una tercera vía: el perspectivismo, que mantiene la esencia del fundacionismo, pero tratando de evi- tar sus errores

    In the second half of the 20th century, we witnessed a revision of the foundationist model in epistemology. Some of the most critical versions of this revision process led to a rejection of the idea that there is an epistemic ground which justifies our believes and, accordingly, to a turn toward a justification model upon social basis. Such is Richard Rorty’s stance. Nevertheless, his philosophy received as well important criticism, among it from Ernest Sosa, who, aware of the limitations of classical founda- tionism, but unsatisfied by rortian alternative offers a third way:

    perspectivism, that maintains the essence of foundationism, but trying not to commit its same mistakes
