El sempiterno problema de la existencia de Dios, así como de su bondad y sus perfecciones y atributos infinitos es una constante antropológica. Siempre el hombre ha buscado un ser trascendente y la posibilidad de relacionarse con él, o para negarlo, o al menos, mantenerse escéptico. Se trata del Faktum fenomenológico de la religiosidad humana que se ha dado desde los albores de la humanidad. Partiendo de esta realidad, pasando por las pruebas de la existencia de Dios y dialogando con la mo- dernidad y las ciencias, Robert Spaemann aborda filosóficamente este tema al que llama Gerücht o rumor de Dios, que siempre ha existido y nunca cesará mientras haya personas humanas

The everlasting issue of God’s existence, as well as of his goodness and infinite perfections and attributes is an anthro- pological constant. Human beings have always sought a trans- cendent being and the possibility to relate to him, or to deny him, or at least to remain sceptical. This is the phenomenological Fak- tum of human religiosity that has existed since the dawn of hu- manity. Starting from this reality, going through the proofs of the existence of God and in dialogue with modernity and sciences, Robert Spaemann philosophically approaches this subject, which he calls Gerücht or rumour of God, which has always existed and will never cease as long as there are human beings around the world
