    La confección de estos acervos iniciáticos al calor de las tensiones políticas del siglo veinte no sólo posibilitaron la conservación material de muchas colecciones mientras otras se escrurrían para siempre de las manos de la historia, además sus apuestas políticas y teóricas contenían hipótesis que daban lugar a la confección de una tradición. En retrospectiva, resulta obvio que la organización de estas diferentes colecciones durante el siglo XX resultó de una importancia crucial para la conservación de documentación por las posibilidades que abrían a la investigación. Los saltos tecnológicos del siglo XX junto a la profesionalización de disciplinas como la bibliotecología y la archivística concentran en estos años el desarrollo y la visibilización de los fondos documentales con los que la humanidad contará de aquí en más.  Desde los acervos personales de militantes hasta los centros de documentación profesionales, nuestra revista insiste con la importancia de los distintos acervos como dadores de las condiciones de posibilidad ―materiales e intelectuales― de la investigación histórica. En todos los casos, los textos compilados dentro de esta sección proponen un análisis de las colecciones conservadas, sus proyectos, sus modificaciones y su propia historia, con sugerentes reflexiones sobre los vínculos entre la historia documental, la historia política y la tarea historiográfica

    The development of these initiatory collections in the context of the political tensions of the twentieth century not only made possible the material preservation of many collections while others were written forever from the hands of history, but also their political and theoretical stakes contained hypotheses that gave rise to the creation of a tradition. Therefore the organization of these different collections during the 20th century was of crucial importance for the preservation of documentation because of the possibilities they opened up for research. The technological leaps of the 20th century, together with the professionalization of disciplines such as librarianship and archival science, concentrated in these years the development and visibility of the documentary collections on which humanity will rely from now on. From the personal collections of activists to professional documentation centers, our journal insists on the importance of the different collections as providers of the conditions of possibility -material and intellectual- of historical research. In all cases, the texts compiled in this section propose an analysis of the preserved collections, their projects, their modifications and their own history, with suggestive reflections on the links between documentary history, political history and the historiographic task.
