    Os tubos dos órgãos apresentam inscrições técnicas feitas pelos organeiros durante o processo de construção e intervenção nos instrumentos. Estas marcas possuem características especiais que servem fundamentalmente para a identificação do tubo e são preciosas enquanto indicadores da autoria da peça, no contexto do amplo e minucioso trabalho de conservação e restauro destes objetos. Os tubos produzidos pelo mestre organeiro Miguel Hensberg, artista que trabalhou na cidade do Porto (Portugal) no último quartel do século XVII, possuem determinadas particularidades, entre as quais se incluem as marcas de notação musical. Os tubos com inscrições semelhantes encontrados em instrumentos não associados ao organeiro contribuem para a atribuição de obra a este autor e para o lançamento da hipótese da existência de uma “Escola de Hensberg”.

    The pipes of the organs present technical inscriptions, made by organ builders in the process of construction and intervention of instruments. These marks have special characteristics, which fundamentally serve to identify the tube, and are precious as indicators of the authorship of the piece in the context of the extensive and meticulous work of conservation and restoration of these objects. The pipes produced by the master organ maker Miguel Hensberg, who worked in Porto in the last quarter of the 17th century, have particularities, among which are marks of musical notation. Tubes with similar inscriptions found in places on instruments not associated with the organ maker, together with other factors, contribute to the hypothesis of the existence of a School of Hensberg.
