Resumen de El doctorado en psicología en el Perú (2002-2014): una aproximación prosopográfica y bibliométrica

  Se examina el doctorado en psicología en el Perú por medio del análisis a los actores y las tesis aprobadas en el periodo 2002-2014. Se identifican 58 actores (38 tesistas y 20 directores) que tienen formación de pre y posgrado en psicología y disciplinas afines. Además, realizan docencia e investigación en universidades públicas y privadas. Por otra parte, se localizan 38 tesis que hacen uso preferente de metodología cuantitativa y muestras de universitarios, adolescentes y adultos. Asimismo, abordan temas de personalidad, evaluación y tratamiento. Del total, seis se han publicado como artículos científicos. En conclusión, la obtención del grado de doctor en psicología posibilita que los tesistas asienten su carrera docente y que los directores ejerzan el rol de orientadores en investigación. Finalmente, la mayoría de las tesis no son citadas porque posiblemente abordan temas poco revelantes o se conducen sin cumplir con los estándares de una investigación científica.

  The doctorate in psychology in Peru are examined through the analysis of the actors and the theses approved in the period 2002-2014. 58 actors are identified (38 thesis students and 20 directors) who have undergraduate and postgraduate training in psychology and related disciplines. In addition, they carry out teaching and research in public and private universities. On the other hand, there are 38 theses that make preferential use of quantitative methodology and samples of university students, adolescents and adults. Likewise, they address issues of personality, evaluation and treatment. Of the total, six have been published as scientific articles. In conclusion, obtaining the degree of doctor in psychology makes it possible for thesis students to establish their teaching career and for directors to play the role of research advisors. Finally, most theses are not cited because they possibly address unrevealing topics or are carried out without meeting the standards of scientific research.
