  Desde comienzos de 2023, Israel tiene un nuevo Gobierno, el número treinta y siete de su historia y, para muchos analistas, el más extremo. En los poco más de dos meses transcurridos desde la formación del Ejecutivo, son muchas las polémicas que se han instalado en la sociedad israelí, entre las cuales destaca la reforma judicial. Sin embargo, el Likud en general y Netanyahu en particular se afanan en mostrar una imagen internacional de normalidad y, en este sentido, buscan tender puentes con Europa, Turquía, Ucrania o Estados Unidos. No obstante, la radicalidad de ciertos miembros del Gobierno hace que Israel esté comenzando a retroceder en algunos de los logros conquistados en los últimos años, como sucede con su imagen de país moderado, tecnológico y amigo del mundo árabe.
