    INTRODUCCIÓN. El derecho de autor regula una serie de aspectos que benefician a los autores como son los derechos morales y económicos que otorgan a sus creadores. OBJETIVO. Es así, como este trabajo analiza la importancia del derecho de autor como una forma de garantizar los derechos de aquellas personas que son creadores de diversas obras inéditas que aportan a la sociedad. El Estado ecuatoriano al ser Constitucional de Derechos y Justicia Social, regula los derechos de autor, no sólo desde la parte económica, sino a la vez desde la concepción del Buen Vivir. MÉTODO. Por lo tanto, desde una investigación de revisión bibliográfica, documental se analiza la importancia del derecho de autor, pero sobre todo analiza que las obras deben contar con el debido registro, para contribuir a los derechos que concede la protección de las obras inéditas realizadas por sus legítimos creadores. DISCUSIÓN Y CONCLUSIONES. Se concluye que dicho derecho está enmarcado desde la concepción de los derechos y justicia social, al proteger las prerrogativas morales como patrimoniales.

    INTRODUCTION. Copyright regulates a series of aspects that benefit authors, such as the moral and economic rights granted to their creators. OBJECTIVE. Thus, this work analyzes the importance of copyright as a way to guarantee the rights of those people who are creators of diverse unpublished works that contribute to society. The Ecuadorian State, being a Constitutional State of Rights and Social Justice, regulates copyrights, not only from the economic point of view, but also from the concept of Good Living. METHOD. Therefore, from a research of bibliographical and documentary review, the importance of the copyright is analyzed, but above all, it is analyzed that the works must have the due registration, to contribute to the rights granted by the protection of the unpublished works made by their legitimate creators.  DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS It is concluded that such right is framed from the conception of rights and social justice, by protecting moral and patrimonial prerogatives.
