El artículo se propone analizar los roles de Elizabeth Lanata (1936-2019) y Doris Halpin (1927-2020) en los casos del fondo del filósofo argentino Rodolfo Kusch y el del pintor, también argentino, Ricardo Carpani. En esa clave, buscamos destacar que ambas mujeres resultan coproductoras de los fondos y se destacan como protagonistas y artífices de la inserción de las obras, tanto del artista como del filósofo con posterioridad a sus fallecimientos, en circuitos contemporáneos asociados al ámbito institucional universitario, al campo cultural y la política en términos generales. Con ello, resaltamos que más allá de la evidente presencia de estas mujeres en los fondos documentales nominados con el apellido de quiénes fueran sus compañeros, existen consecuencias hermenéuticas notorias no sólo legibles en las decisiones sobre el material que se conservó (y el que no) y de la forma en qué se organizó para la cesión institucional o la consulta pública, sino claramente en cómo sus posicionamientos políticos y acciones de promoción direccionadas estratégicamente, signaron la recepción y la vigencia de las obras implicadas y los modos de conservación de los fondos documentales, legados posteriormente a universidades públicas.

The article aims to analyze the roles of Elizabeth Lanata (1936-2019) and Doris Halpin (1927-2020) in the cases of the collection of the Argentine philosopher Rodolfo Kusch and that of the painter, also Argentine, Ricardo Carpani. In this key, we seek to highlight that both women are co-producers of the funds and stand out as protagonists and architects of the insertion of the works of both the artist and the philosopher after their deaths, in contemporary circuits associated with the university institutional sphere, the field culture and politics in general terms. With this, we highlight that beyond the evident presence of these women in the documentary collections nominated with the surname of who their companions were, there are notorious hermeneutical consequences not only legible in the decisions about the material that was preserved (and the one that was not) and the way in which it was organized for institutional transfer or public consultation, but clearly in how its political positions and strategically directed promotional actions marked the reception and validity of the works involved and the ways of preserving the documentary collections, subsequently bequeathed to public universities.
