  • The text takes its cue from a recent ruling by the Court of Cassation concerning the jurisdiction of the Italian judge in a dispute concerning admission to a doctoral course at the Pontifical Lateran University. Is then illustrated the nature of the Pontifical Universities directly managed by the Holy See within the framework of the international agreements in force. Is illustrated the evolution of Italian jurisprudence on the matter and a different solution is proposed.
