After a brief historical overview about the discipline of the U.S. legal system dedicated to abortion, this paper addresses the recent Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court. The analysis is conducted through the medium of two guidelines: women’s health and the North American historical-cultural context.
