  • Disc electrophoresis in the identification of species of fishes and its application to the differentiation of two species of Phycis:

    The authors have realized an electrophoretic study of the muscular proteins in two species of Phycis. The separed proteins bands were them stained to stablish a ban petterm characteristic of each species of fish. This technique has allowed the clear differentiation of two species Phycis phicis and Ph. blennioides
