    Una de las bibliotecas jesuíticas más notables formada en nuestro territorio fue la del pueblo de Candelaria, considerado la capital de las misiones, por ser el asiento del Padre Superior. Su inventario, antes y después de la expulsión de la Orden, su destino final y el lamentable deterioro que produjo su mal mantenimiento son considerados en este aporte.

    One of the most remarkable Jesuit libraries in the missionary territory was Pueblo de Candelaria, considered as the capital of the missions where resided the Superior Father. In this work are considered the inventory of the books before and after the expulsión of the Order, the final destination and damage produced by the deficient maintenance.
