Bajo el efecto de la Gran Guerra y en el marco del entendimiento político argentino-brasileño simbolizado en el tratado del ABC, se hizo manifiesta la necesidad común de reinterpretar la relación fronteriza. El trabajo tiene como eje la factibilidad de dicho propósito, a la luz de la unilateralidad de las políticas de frontera y el influjo de la conflagración. Con apuntaciones de valor para una historia del espacio de frontera, se examinan posibilidades coyunturales de cooperación en términos de comercio, infraestructura y articulación de transportes regionales.

Under the effect of the Great War and in the framework of Argentine-Brazilian political understanding symbolized in ABC treaty, the common necessity of reinterpreting the border relationship appeared. The core of the work is the feasibility of such purpose, in the light of the unilateralism of border policies and the influence of the war. With notes of valué for a history of border space, the current possibilities of cooperation are examined in terms of commerce, infrastructure and articulation of regional transports.
