Al hablar de lenguaje y de comunicación en música es necesario explorar las características del signo lingüístico desde la propia disciplina. El signo linguistico se compone de tres dimensiones (semántica, sintáctica y pragmática) que condicionan el lenguaje. En el siguiente articulo se identifican éstas en el lenguaje musical /se propone su consideración en la experiencia musical del alumnado y en la enseñanza de los contenidos del área de música.

To speak of language and communication in music, it is necessaryto explore the characteristics of the linguistic sign from its own discipline. The linguistic sign is composed of three dimensions "the semantic, syntactic and the pragmatic" which condition the language. In the following article these are Identified in musical language and their findings are considered in respect of the musical experience of the student and in the teaching of the contents in the area of music.
