    En la presente investigación se identifican conocimientos sobre el cambio climático, uno de los problemas ambientales más grandes que afecta la humanidad. El objetivo fue proponer un sistema de actividades para contribuir en la concientización de los estudiantes universitarios sobre el problema del cambio climático y cómo educar hacia su adecuado enfrentamiento (adaptación y mitigación). Se consultó una variada bibliografía en el proceso de elaboración y se revisaron documentos de otras universidades, que permitieron constatar la investigación y recomendar acciones a implementar con los estudiantes del último año de las carreras en las universidades cubanas. Contiene una caracterización de dicha problemática ambiental. La presente investigación se sustenta en la concepción dialéctico-materialista, con enfoque mixto, que orienta el proceder teórico y metodológico, así como su conducción integral. Lo que permitió logar los resultados alcanzados en esta investigación. Los estudiantes lograron comprender mejor la importancia de la concientización sobre el cambio climático.

    In the present investigation, knowledge about climate change is identified, one of the biggest environmental problems that affects humanity. Its objective was to propose a system of activities to contribute to the awareness of university students about the problem of climate change and how to educate towards its adequate confrontation (adaptation and mitigation). A varied bibliography was consulted in the elaboration process and documents from other universities were reviewed, which allowed verifying the research and recommending actions to be implemented with the students of the last year of the careers in the Cuban universities. It contains a characterization of said environmental problem. The present investigation is based on the dialectical-materialist conception, with a mixed approach, which guides the theoretical and methodological procedure, as well as its integral conduction. What allowed to achieve the results achieved in this investigation. The students gained a better understanding of the importance of climate change awareness.
