El autor como dispositivo de distinción: lógicas y paradojas del régimen de singularidad

    Este artículo analiza la relación entre la noción de autor en «régimen de singularidad» y el paradigma estético de definición de la Literatura, a fin de mostrar cómo la autoría deviene en este régimen un mecanismo de excusión y distinción. Para ello, analizaremos cómo la oposición singularidad vs. comunidad atraviesa las representaciones del escritor desde el Romanticismo, mostrando su relación con el cuadro hermenéutico que rige el discurso literario y la consideración del objeto libro, para analizar después cómo determinados ritos de aparición de la instancia autorial en el espacio público contribuyen también a apuntalar su sacralización y singularización. Todo ello con el objetivo de mostrar de qué modo la revisión crítica de la autoría que se está llevando a cabo en las últimas décadas pone en jaque la pretensión de autonomía y singularidad que ha venido caracterizando la figura del autor.

    This article analyses the relationship between the notion of the author in a “regime of singularity” and the aesthetic paradigm of the definition of Literature, in order to show how authorship becomes in this regime a mechanism of exclusion and d istinction. To do so, we will analyse how the opposition singularity vs. community runs through the representations of the writer since Romanticism, showing its relationship with the hermeneutic framework that regulates literary discourse and the consideration of the book as object, in order to later analyse how certain rites of appearance of the authorial instance in the public space also contribute to underpinning its sacralisation and singularisation. All this with the aim of showing how the critical rev ision of authorship that has been carried out in recent decades calls into question the claim to autonomy and singularity that has characterised the figure of the author .
