  • In the latest edition of the works of José Ángel Valente, Nadie, the poet deals with the impossibility of talking about the unknowable, which emerges in the radical experience of language, and inspite of it, the poetic creation or lyric is nourished by this impossibility. It creates a poetic world based on the nothing or the silence of being, in the language of the imagination whose creative movement annihilates everything that has not been. Of this experience remains the debris of the impossible that cannot be eliminated which in turn engenders a horizon that can never be reached.
