  El presente artículo busca establecer posibles relaciones entre los teatros áureo e isabelino a partir de las prácticas escénicas. Estos dos repertorios plantean un complejo desafío artístico e investigativo para los creadores contemporáneos. El artículo enuncia algunos de los retos que nos demanda el lenguaje, los personajes, el reparto y los finales. Finalmente, establece similitudes entre los postulados estéticos e interpretativos de Shakespeare y Cervantes.

  This article seeks to establish possible relationships between the Golden and Elizabethan theaters based on scenic practices. These two repertoires pose a complex artistic and investigative challenge for contemporary creators. The arti[1]cle states some of the challenges that the language, the characters, the cast and the endings demand of us. Finally, it establishes similarities between the aesthetic and interpretive postulates of Shakespeare and Cervantes.
