In this paper we analyze two particularities that identify police work according to officers: discipline and leadership. It is of our interest to discuss how these two aspects are articulated to distinguish police officers from other professions. To this end, we will proceed with a study on the training and construction of a police subject. We gathered data at the school of officers of the Argentine Federal Police. Discipline and leadership are two values that are taught and learned at the School of Officers, which forge in them ways of doing things that characterize them. Our aim is to understand how this differentiation entails moral nuances that organize a career itinerary that begins in the training period.
