  La cuestión ambiental es una de las problemáticas que puede considerarse como parte inherente al concepto de la modernidad reflexiva. No sólo porque es un legado del industrialismo -o del capitalismo como algunos autores afirman, sino también porque están como referente de las acciones del Estado globalizado (Giddens); de la reflexividad característica de esta época (Luhmann, Beck); de la sociedad del riesgo y el concepto de contingencia que sirve para definir a la sociedad moderna (Beck, Luhmann, Giddens); de la globalización-globalidad y modernidad (Giddens, Beck), y en general, de la preocupación central del hombre del siglo XXI.

  The environmental question is one of the problematic ones who can considered to be a part inherent in the concept of the reflexive modernity. Not only because it is a legacy of the industrialism -or of the capitalism as some authors they affirm-, but also because they are as modal of the actions of the included State (Giddens); of the reflexividad typical of this epoch (Luhmann, Beck); of the society of the risk and the concept of contingency that serves to define the modern society (Beck, Luhmann, Giddens); of the globalization - globalidad and modernity (Giddens, Beck), and in general, of the central worry of the man of the century XXI.
