Distribución actual de Heterotheca latifolia Buck. en la Provincia de San Luis (República Argentina). El relevamiento se realizó recorriendo las rutas nacionales y provinciales con estaciones de recolección cada 25 km a ambos lados de éstas y en campos naturales y cultivados, a fin de documentar y trazar el mapa de distribución. La maleza ocupa actualmente la casi totalidad de la Provincia, no habiéndose detectado en la región serrana y hacia el Noroeste, abarcando esta área de difusión las zonas de pasturas naturales y de mayor actividad agrícola.

This research was carried out in order to document the occurrence of Heterotheca latifolia Buck. and map its distribution. It was performed by searching along national and provincial roads, being the collecting stations placed every 25 km, on both sides of them, and in both tilled and untilled fields. At present, this weed has covered nearly the whole Province, including natural grasslands and agriculture lands, not having be a detected on the central hilly region and the North Western one.
