    En este trabajo se quiere ver el giro del siglo XVI del problema del dominio plan-teado por la Escuela de Salamanca en el recorrido a un cambio de signo como el que tendrá en el siglo XVI en donde nociones vinculadas a él, como la de propiedad, adquieren un matiz diferenciado. Busca ofrecer algunas claves de esas modificaciones semánticas derivadas de la progresiva consideración de algunos conceptos clave realizada por la La Escuela de Salamanca y por Francisco de Vitoria, en particular. Este autor –continuando el esfuerzo teórico e intelectual medieval, en particular de Tomás de Aquino– quiso realizar una propuesta sintética en la que se reflejaran los logros teóricos de la filosofía antigua, la reflexión patrística, la teología medieval, el derecho de raíz romana y su desarrollado posterior, en algunas propuestas humanistas.

    In this work, we aim to examine the shift of the 16th century in the discourse on the issue of dominion as initially posited by the School of Salamanca, transitioning towards a change in perspective as it will manifest in the 16th century. Notions closely linked to this discourse, such as property, acquire distinct nuances. Our objective is to provide some insights into these semantic modifications stemming from the diminishing significance of certain key concepts in the development of this thesis put forth by the School of Salamanca and Francisco of Vitoria. This school, following what, in our view, was the medieval theoretical and intellec-tual effort, one of whose representatives is Thomas Aquinas, sought to formulate a synthetic proposal encompassing the theoretical achievements of ancient philosophy, patristic reflec-tion, medieval theology, Roman-rooted law and its subsequent development, as well as cer-tain humanist propositions.
