    La ciudad que te perdió, ¿por qué el asesinato o la muerte del amor?, es el título de un breve análisis literario que apunto sobre la novela La ciudad que te perdió del escritor Carlos Carrión. A través de esta relación se ven circunstancias respecto del amor que Carrión lo hace en esta ya su novela cumbre dentro de su producción. El movimiento del amor entre Rolando y Tatiana, entre Miguel y Lucía, son las introducciones que mueven los sentimientos de afectividad entre la primera pareja y la tierna niña Clarita que, inicialmente, queda al cuidado de su padre, porque su madre se ve obligada a viajar a Europa para lograr determinada solución laboral. En Europa vive ya Miguel y su pareja, parientes de Rolando, son testigos de un desbande ilícito de la esposa de Rolando con un amigo de Oriente. Las situaciones se complican, se produce la quiebra del matrimonio, del sentimiento paternal de Rolando con su hija, toda vez que la ley permite la tenencia de la hija a la madre. Entre una y otras circunstancias hay una lucha perenne por recuperar el amor de Tatiana y de su hija Clarita. No se dan las cosas. Vienen las circunstancias cruzadas de una extraña europea que se entromete en la vida del divorciado, pero termina muy pronto, la presencia de una religiosa que analiza la situación de conformismo, la intervención de la artista porque a través de esa influencia se pretende recuperar, pero no se da nada. La destrucción del amor ha sido el gran motivo laboral, porque la desintegración de la familia se da por la migración.
