Negación en el sistema de las perífrasis verbales causativas del español actual

    La característica funcional de la categoría de la negación está estrechamente vinculada con la realización del fenómeno del supletivismo en el sistema de las perífrasis verbales del español. Esto se debe a que la negación resulta ser un factor que favorece al desarrollo de este fenómeno lingüístico por medio de la creación de perífrasis verbales de unos microsistemas con otras unidades nominales negativas por su semántica. El artículo presente explora y propone explicaciones del funcionamiento de la negación en las perífrasis que expresan la causatividad: la forma negativa de la perífrasis verbal factitiva hacer + infinitivo con la partícula negativa en la preposición se correlaciona con la perífrasis permisiva dejar + infinitivo: no hacer + infinitivo = dejar + infinitivo o dejar + no + infinitivo y la forma negativa de dejar + infinitivo (sólo en significado “prohibir”) se correlaciona con la perífrasis factitiva hacer + no + infinitivo. En general, el análisis del funcionamiento de la negación en el sistema perifrástico del español permite sacar a la luz el desarrollo del supletivismo como fenómeno lingüístico.

    The functional characteristic of the category of negation is closely related to the realization of suppletion phenomenon in the system of Spanish verbal periphrases. It is connected with the fact that negation is found to be a factor which stimulates the development of this linguistic phenomenon through the formation of units with negative meaning on the basis of the verbal periphrases of certain microsystem. This article focuses on the explanation of the functioning of negation in the periphrases indicating causativity. The negative form of factitive verbal periphrases with a negative particle in the preposition correlates with a permissive periphrasis dejar + infinitivo: no hacer + infinitivo = dejar + infinitivo o dejar + no + infinitivo. The negative form dejar + infinitivo (only in the meaning “to prohibit”) correlates with a factitive verbal periphrasis – hacer + no + infinitivo. In general, the analysis of the negation in the system of periphrases in Spanish permits to clarify the development of suppletion as a linguistic phenomenon.
