    Este trabajo es la primera parte de un estudio más amplio sobre las colecciones de tapicerías en poder de distintos virreyes españoles, durante los años que ejercieron su cargo fuera de España.  El objetivo de esta primera parte es identificar, dentro de las colecciones de los virreyes españoles, los tapices flamencos adquiridos en Italia, especialmente en Nápoles, o aquellos que fueron importantes en la decoración de los palacios partenopeos, y la fortuna posterior de estas colecciones.

    This work is the first part of a broader study on the collections of tapestries in the possession of Spanish viceroys, when they are exercising their position outside of Spain. The aim of this paper is to search, within the collections of the Spanish viceroys, for Flemish tapestries acquired in Italy, especially in Naples, or those which were important in the decoration of the Parthenopean palaces, and the subsequent fortune of these collections.
