    Este artículo, base de la conferencia pronunciada en la International Conference in memory of Nello Forti Grazzini (Academia Belgica, Roma, 25-26 October 2022), ofrece una síntesis de las últimas investigaciones sobre la Fábula de Mercurio de la colección ducal Lerma-Medinaceli. La colaboración de Nello Forti Grazzini en la exposición Los amores de Mercurio y Herse. Una rica tapicería de Willem de Pannemaker, celebrada en 2010 en el Museo Nacional del Prado, permitió avanzar en el conocimiento de la génesis de creación de los ocho tapices, que integran esta suntuosa tapicería, tejida en Bruselas por Willem de Pannemaker en 1570.

    This article, the basis of a lecture given at the International Conference in memory of Nello Forti Grazzini (Academia Belgica, Rome, 25-26 October 2022), offers a synthesis of the latest research on the Fable of Mercury from the Lerma-Medinaceli ducal collection. Nello Forti Grazzini’s collaboration with the exhibition The Loves of Mercury and Herse. A rich tapestry by Willem de Pannemaker, held in 2010 at the Museo Nacional del Prado, made it possible to advance our knowledge of the genesis of the creation of the eight tapestries that make-up this sumptuous tapestry, woven in Brussels by Willem de Pannemaker in 1570.
