La orquesta participativa: espacio de socialización y mediación cultural en el contexto penitenciario francés

    La investigación evalúa la eficacia de la Orquesta Participativa en la socialización y bienestar de los internos e internas (se utilizará el término interno para ambos sexos) del Centro de Detención de Bapaume en Francia, considerando las disonancias de la institución penitenciaria en el marco del Protocolo Cultura-Justicia. La metodología utilizada es mixta, cumplimentando cuestionarios y entrevistas semiestructuradas diseñadas ad hoc. La muestra contó con la participación de 34 internos de entre 18 a 65 años de un universo voluntario con población y muestra finita. Los resultados mostraron bienestar y necesidad de socialización, con dinámica de respeto y puntualidad por parte de los participantes. Sin embargo, se evidenciaron disonancias en la intervención, relacionadas con la falta de condiciones físicas, así como de carácter ético/moral de algunas personas que se niegan a intervenir en estos espacios, frente a otros que deciden hacerlo. En general, se destaca la importancia de la música y la cultura en la educación y bienestar de los internos, y se indican las fortalezas y debilidades de estas intervenciones en prisión.

    The research evaluates the effectiveness of the Participative Orchestra in the socialization and well-being of inmates (the term inmate will be used for both genders) of the Bapaume detention center in France, considering the dissonances of the penitentiary institution within the framework of the Culture-Justice Protocol. The methodology used is a mixed one, complementing questionnaires and semi-structured interviews designed ad hoc. The sample included 34 inmates between 18 and 65 years of age from a voluntary universe with a finite population and sample. The results showed well-being and a need to socialize, with a dynamic of respect and punctuality on the part of the participants. However, there was evidence of dissonance in the intervention, related to the lack of physical conditions, as well as the ethical/moral character of some people who refuse to intervene in these spaces, compared to others who decide to do so. In general, the importance of music and culture in the education and well-being of inmates is highlighted and are indicated the strengths and weaknesses of these interventions in prison.
