Infancias rurales en la sierra Madre de Chiapas: recuperando la socialización del conocimiento entre generaciones acerca de la vida en la frontera forestal

    En el medio rural hay discontinuidades en los conocimientos de lo que es vivir en la frontera agroforestal entre los padres, madres, hijos e hijas, algunas causas de esta pérdida, el abandono del campo por políticas neoliberales, el sistema escolarizado y la migración laboral. Por esto, analizar la recuperación y socialización del conocimiento entre generaciones acerca de la vida en la frontera agroforestal fue el principal objetivo. Se diseñó e implementó la Escuela de Campo Interactiva para la Infancia Rural en la Cuenca del Río El Tablón (ECIIR/CART), este proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje ha tenido tres ediciones y padres/madres han jugado un papel fundamental en las prácticas y vivencias sobre la agricultura, ganadería silvopastoril y sus derivados, y la vida en la frontera agroforestal. Se emplearon actividades lúdicas y reflexivas, se hicieron prácticas agropecuarias y se visitó la montaña. Los resultados demuestran que las experiencias son altamente significativas y los conocimientos compartidos en la ECIIR/CART avivan el diálogo y los conocimientos dentro de la familia. Las niñas y los niños han aprendido a convivir con respeto y a apreciar la vida de la flora y la fauna. El reto es mantener sistemáticamente a la ECIIR/CART como un espacio de enseñanza aprendizaje de transformación social para crear más habilidades sustentables.

    In rural areas there are discontinuities in the knowledge of what it is like to live on the agroforestry frontier between fathers/mothers and sons/daughters, some causes of this loss, the abandonment of the countryside due to neoliberal policies, the school system and labor migration. For this reason, analyzing the recovery and socialization of knowledge between generations about life in the agroforestry frontier was the main objective. The Interactive Field School for Rural Children in the El Tablón River Basin (ECIIR/CART) was designed and implemented. This teaching-learning process has had three editions and parents have played a fundamental role in the practices and experiences of agriculture, silvopastoral livestock and its derivatives, and life on the agroforestry frontier. Playful and reflective activities were used, agricultural practices were carried out and the mountain was visited. The results show that the experiences are highly significant and the knowledge shared in the ECIIR/CART fuels dialogue and knowledge within and at the family level. The children have learned to live with respect and appreciate the life of animals. The challenge is to systematically maintain the ECIIR/CART as a teaching-learning space for social transformation to create more sustainable skills.
