En este trabajo se plantea que el procedimiento inquisitorial provoca que los testimonios registrados en los expedientes inquisitoriales sobre brujería y hechicería están conformados por tópicos y motivos de la cultura popular que delinean el personaje de la bruja. En la primera parte se analiza el procedimiento y después se muestran ejemplos en los que los tópicos y motivos van reproduciéndose en distintos testimonios y que, en algunos casos, llegan a nuestros días.

In this work it is proposed that the inquisitorial procedure by otself the reason because the testimonies registered in the inquisitorial files about witchcraft and sorcery are made up of topics and motifs from the popular culture that delineate the character of the witch. In the first part, the procedure is analyzed and then examples are shown in which the topics are reproduced in different testimonies and that, in some cases, thar reach our days.
